MARIE STRAIN INTERNATIONAL PEACE FOUNDATION,INC.

This Foundation is named after Marie Strain,who started the peace day in Concord,Massachusetts. She was a peace advocate,hoping for a National Peace Day someday.She died on Sept. 28th 2007.

The International Peace Day of Massachusetts started in
2004 in Concord,Mass.On September 21st there were
flags in the middle of town from many different countries,as well as our U.S. flag.At 12:00 noon the
church bells rang,some of them 21 times.

I, Barbara Walker, recieved a great honor from Gov. Mitt Romney,for all my peace work.

The International Peace Day started in 1982, was made
offical in 2002 as a 20th anniversary.
